This Design Service is for you if:
you are looking for a complete and detailed design that is tailored to your needs and preferred aesthetics, but you would like to phase the implementation process and work on it at your own time and pace.
you are looking for superior quality furnishings, and see a need for custom-made furniture and/or solutions.
you are seeking to participate in the design process that is detailed and structured, but you enjoy shopping and your schedule will allow you to handle purchasing of furnishings that have been specified and decided upon during the design phase.
you are willing to employ and schedule your own trades (painters, electricians, carpenters, etc.)
you are looking to design one, or a few spaces within your home, and you are willing to commit to a premium design experience that entails in-person presentations, meetings, and hands-on participation in the process.
you would like to achieve a design that is carefully planned just for you with our signature attention to detail, and gain exclusive project specifications and guidance that would empower you to implement it to completion.
What to expect:
We will start with a phone call to gather all the needed information.
We will then schedule a walk-through to verify existing conditions and to decipher your personal style.
Then a proposal will be presented to you with a detailed outline of services to be provided, the design agreement will be prepared for signing as well. 100% of the design fee will have to be paid.
After this, we will start working on your space drawings to feature variations of furniture layouts. We will consider all possible options to make sure we create a furniture placement and lighting plan that answers your functional needs for the space and presents you with layout choices that will be convenient and appropriate. We will also plan to prepare a digital concept board to obtain feedback on general style direction and color scheme. We will review these via a zoom/video call - this will be our Design Kick-off meeting.
Next, we will start working on your design concepts. We will plan to present 2 options: slightly different, but both in your preferred style. Your design concepts will be presented at our 1st design meeting in a format of 2D renderings and will feature real (not conceptual) pieces of furniture, lighting, art, and accessories. You will have access to all item details we present via exclusive access to our design platform. This is where we will gather all specifications, photos, and pricing.
Following your feedback, we will select your favorite design option, and see if there is a need for any modifications (2 revisions will be included with this service). When all selections are finalized, we will start gathering your finish samples.
Our second design meeting will finalize design concepts, colors, finish/texture selections. All of this will be presented for your approval at this time.
At our 3rd meeting, we will present your final designs and hand over all drawings, finish samples, and purchasing sources for you to implement your custom design independently. You will be equipped with a recommended project process and timeline, local resources, and useful suggestions and guides.
